Are you one of the 20% of Americans near retirement that have saved NOTHING?

I certainly hope not. The Federal Reserve recently released a statistic based on a survey they did that showed 19% (almost 20%) of survey respondents in the age range of 55-64 had saved nothing for retirement.

This is a good reminder of the importance of saving for retirement, and especially taking advantage of employer provided plans such as 401(k) and 403(b) plans. Not everyone has access through their employer for one of these plans, but if you do make sure you take advantage of it.
